Return & Refund Policy for Digital Products and Services
Summary
- All products are digital; nothing is shipped and there are no physical returns.
- 30-day technical guarantee on digital products.
- Purchases are final once the download has begun, except under the technical guarantee.
- No restocking fees.
Coding Coast sells digital products (Verse code, devices and game systems for UEFN) and development services. This policy explains when a refund is available.
Digital Products
Downloads are delivered instantly after payment, and source code cannot be returned once it has been downloaded. For that reason purchases of digital products are final, with one exception:
If a product does not work as described and we cannot fix it, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
To request one, email hello@codingcoast.shop within 30 days with:
- Your order number.
- A description of the problem, including your UEFN version and any error messages.
We will work with you to resolve the issue. If we cannot, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.
Refunds are not available for:
- Change of mind after the product has been downloaded.
- Not knowing how to use UEFN or Verse. Each product page lists what is required and which devices you need.
- Problems caused by changes you made to the code.
- Free products.
Development Services
Hourly bookings, day packages and monthly retainers are prepaid and follow the terms on each listing:
- Time already worked is not refundable.
- A day package that has not started can be refunded in full on request. Day packages must be used within 90 days of purchase.
- Retainers can be cancelled with 14 days' notice. Unused time in the current billing cycle is not refunded.
Customers in the EU and UK
You have a 14-day right to cancel purchases of digital content. By completing checkout you agree that the download is delivered immediately and acknowledge that this right ends once the download has begun. The 30-day technical guarantee above applies regardless.
How Refunds Are Processed
Please contact us before opening a chargeback; we resolve most problems directly.
We will notify you once we have reviewed your request. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post it.
